If you asked me how i would like my childhood to have looked like,in which surrounding i would have spent my childish days,i would say…on TARA….

To be SCARLETT is most amazing dream that a little -grown up girl might have..Born as little princess she was molly-coddle and on care by her dearest.Being so beautiful, there must be her beauty reflected ambient where she lived and absorbed outer powerful nature in all its opulence. That was a way they were feeding each other,by exchanging their inner charm, tenderness, power, energy, beauty….a row of common Human and Nature attributes.

Beside a native beautiful look,Scarlett picked up vivid force of the nature, which bore her through all the life and gave an astonished strength in the hardest days, which were waiting for her.

As the Queen on the balls, she has always been surrounded by all young men who pretended to marry her.She was sharing her charm unselfish, giving magic smiles and laugh every one of them….her hilarity was absorbing. Each man could have belonged to her,and every one was longing to conquer her heart.Such a richness and abundance had to lead to some deflections…unfortunately, when we are overwhelmed with richness of blissful attributes,it happens often to turn ourselves into a destructive energy. It was easy possible to happen with Scarlett, and she became a sacrifice of own magnificent and splendid nature being strong expressed in her feelings, which stayed an enigma to the end of the story..LOVE.

Her Love of Ashley, turned him in personal obsession, which could have been a punishment, accepted to be her destiny. Not only she, every person who meet and feel such abundance of own personality,is often faced with choosing such a way to punish oneself…in some way. That was the fate to accompany her for lifetime. What is the easiest way to get out of such a big load but to punish yourself.

Scarlett merited her praise and approved own values during the war,by encountering with enemy when she had evinced astonishing courage and strength to face with bad people, willing to kill and abuse women. Then, she helped her rival Melanie by staying with her in difficult moments, when she gave a birth to a baby, and helping her to find a way back to Tara.

Tara was and stayed her Destiny and personal impress.Scarlett was drawing the whole strength she possessed from Tara and felt intensity and power of the land, she needed its hardness and security. The Supremacy’s creation of the world jointed all necessary elements which nature bears in itself…beauty and power, strength and backbone, hate and love, silence and storms…Scarlett and Tara

No,i didn’t forget Rhett Butler,he played main role in her life….just to point out her punishment in realm of love.It was about great destruction which such a character could held inside of own being. It is unthinkable that beautiful Scarlett was not able to love …she needed love more than others might imagine and was predicted for great love.

I think she was probably aware of an inner load that she might never pay off and of its cost- never reaching real love…but, it was Scarlett with all th strength of will to struggle and believe in Love, and a hope that God’s punishment was not so crucial for her to be bereaved of her essential being in longing for splendid and magic love..

I’ll think about it tomorrow……

Could you imagine that she was created for something ordinarily?Beautiful and glorious Scarlett was deprived of having a life resembling lives of many. She had to pay for own excellence some high prices,by taking from herself and giving more to others. To beat evil is not easy work..even harder way than meeting Devil itself…or himself…

I and you can only imagine how her path of love could have been  continued…regardless she has brought her love back or not,i firmly believe she would stay strong and full of hope for love and future..till the end,if an end exists at all…for Her and Tara

What about a suffering love of Ashley, relationship that she built in own imagination and fed the youngest days of her life.Wasn’t that feeling of her forced by her spite, for Ashley had been all the time aware of differences that stood between him and her?/for him she has a heart of lion/

You were too full of living and too real and I was cowardly enough to prefer shadows and dreams.”

I had sheltered myself from people all my life, I had carefully selected my few friends.  But the war taught me I had created a world of my own with dream people in it.  It taught me what people really are, but it didn’t teach me how to live with them.

Forgive me, Scarlett, for talking so. I can’t make you understand because you don’t know the meaning of fear. You have the heart of  lion and an utter lack of imagination and I envy you both of those qualities. You’ll never mind facing realities and you’ll never want to escape from them as I do.”

You told me you loved me better than her that day–oh, you remember that day

“We were to forget that day at Twelve Oaks.”There was a day of his weakness to confess his love of her…a moment which comes to be an illusion …Melanie was a woman he could understand and regard and she  fitted his quiet and serene nature.

Rhett has been loved by women..no wonder,he was a real gentlemen who loved and knew a way to seduce them in a charming man’s manner. As much as women admired him, they loved him the same, and wanted to be on a list waiting for his flattering words.Every woman covets to meet such a careful seducer who knows about each secret twinkle of her soul.

Rhett and Scarlet

“It was so obvious that we were meant for each other.  So obvious that I was the only man of your acquaintance who could love you after knowing you as you really are–hard and greedy and unscrupulous, like me.  I loved you and I took the chance.  I thought Ashley would fade out of your mind.  But,” he shrugged, “I tried everything I knew and nothing worked.  And I loved you so,Scarlett.  If you had only let me, I could have loved you as gently and as tenderly as ever a man loved a woman.  But I couldn’t let you know, for I knew you’d think me weak and try to use my love against me.  And always–always there was Ashley.  It drove me crazy.

“Rhett, don’t say such things!  Oh, what can I say to make you understand?  I’ve told you how sorry I am–”

My darling, you’re such a child.  You think that by saying,’I’m sorry,’ all the errors and hurts of years past can beremedied, obliterated from the mind, all the poison drawn from old wounds. . . .  Take my handkerchief, Scarlett.  Never, at any crisis of your life, have I known you to have a handkerchief.”

For a moment

she was on the verge of an outburst of childish wild tears.  She

could have thrown herself on the floor, cursed and screamed and

drummed her heels.  But some remnant of pride, of common sense

stiffened her.  She thought, if I did, he’d only laugh, or just

look at me.  I mustn’t bawl; I mustn’t beg.  I mustn’t do anything

to risk his contempt.  He must respect me even–even if he doesn’t

love me.

She had never understood either of the men she had loved and so she had lost them both. Now,she had a confused knowledge that, had she ever understood Ashley, she would never have loved him;had she ever understood Rhett, she would never have lost him.She wondered forlornly if she had ever really understood anyone in the world.

As God’s will made it,Earth comes to be the strongest support and source of power we can search for in our existence. There is Heaven which lures us with all the Bible’s and religions stories and rooted beliefs, received from our parents and ancestors. In real life,in the face of difficulties we become naturally turned to land as presently accessible …it feeds us like fruits and vegetables harvested each year in peasant’s struggle with storms, rain and drought.Scarlett loved richness bestowed by Tara,as she loved Tara to be her mother,a cradle where she was born and forever bound with childhood and everything it bears..childish happiness, plays, innocent laughs..parent’s love .. most joyous moments in life.

“Tara! Home. I’ll go home, and I’ll think of some way to get him back! After all, tomorrow is another day!

I won’t think of it now,” she thought grimly, summoning up her old charm.  “I’ll go crazy if I think about losing him now.  I’ll think of it tomorrow.””I won’t think of it now,” she said again, aloud, trying to push her misery to the back of her mind, trying to find some bulwark against the rising tide of pain.  “I’ll–why, I’ll go home to Tara tomorrow,” and her spirits lifted faintly

thought of Tara and it was as if a gentle cool hand were stealing

over her heart.  She could see the white house gleaming welcome to

her through the reddening autumn leaves, feel the quiet hush of the

country twilight coming down over her like a benediction, feel the

dews falling on the acres of green bushes starred with fleecy

white, see the raw color of the red earth and the dismal dark

beauty of the pines on the rolling hills.

She stood for a moment remembering small things, the avenue of dark

cedars leading to Tara, the banks of cape jessamine bushes, vivid

green against the white walls, the fluttering white curtains. And

Mammy would be there. Suddenly she wanted Mammy desperately,as

she had wanted her when she was a little girl, wanted the broad

bosom on which to lay her head, the gnarled black hand on her hair.

Mammy, the last link with the old days.”

With the spirit of her people who would not know defeat, even when

it stared them in the face, she raised her chin. She could get

Rhett back. She knew she could. There had never been a man she

couldn’t get, once she set her mind upon him.

I’ll think of it all tomorrow, at Tara.  I can stand it then. Tomorrow, I’ll think of some way to get him back.  After all, tomorrow is another day”

Margaret Munnerlyn Mitchell (November 8, 1900 – August 16, 1949) was an American author, who won the Pulitzer Prize  in 1937 for her novel Gone with the Wind. The novel is one of the most popular books of all time, selling more than 30 million copies (see list of best-selling books . An American film adaptation , released in 1939, became the highest-grossing film in the history of Hollywood , and received a record-breaking ten Academy Awards. Its record of eight non-honorary Academy Awards stood until 1958.

Mitchell wrote for her own amusement, and with solid support from her husband, kept her novel secret from her friends. She hid the voluminous pages under towels, disguising them as a divan , hid them in her closets, and under her bed.[citation needed  ] She wrote the last chapter first, and skipped around from chapter to chapter. Her husband regularly proofread   the growing manuscript to help in continuity. By 1929, her ankle had healed, most of the book was written, and she lost interest in pursuing her literary efforts. The bulk of the work was written between 1925 and 1930 in an apartment Mitchell called “The Dump”[4]  : the Crescent Apartments  are now listed on the National Register of Historic Places and are operated as a museum to Mitchell’s memory.

Gone With the Wind was published on June 30, 1936.
